This beautiful collaboration between Darby Holm and Dellene Peralta has always been one of the most visually stunning pieces at Illuzion Glass Galleries. On top of the dragon's head is the bowl which leads down the dragon's torso to a natural perc, and on up six black donuts to the mouthpiece. The structure is all tied together by a beautiful frame consisting of dichroic faceted glass crystals and clear rods which make up the frame. This piece is can be seen in person at Illuzion Glass Galleries in Denver, Colorado.

Blowing glass since 1996 and helping to lead the way for all who have followed, Darby Holm is one of the most respected and longest working artists in this industry. With his trademark cactus color pull and his wildly popular ray guns, Darby has one of the most recognizable styles in the business. As the patriarch of a glassblowing family, Darby is ushering along the next generation of glassblowers along with his brother, Carsten Carlisle. Look out for his son Shurlok Holm to really make a splash in the very near future and follow in his father’s very large footsteps.

Dellene Peralta lives in Oregon. Dellene is very well known for her dragons and amazing look-alike sculptures of famous celebrities and movie characters. Dellene is considered to be one of the top female glass artists in the country.
